The documentary that will tell and celebrate the life of Andre Matos , Maestro of Rock , released its first official trailer today, the 5th.
In time for the 8th, which will mark one year since Matos passed away, the icon's family has made available to fans the trailer for the production, which began in 2018 with the authorization of Andre himself, who gave testimonials about his life on and off stage during various phases of his career.
The documentary, directed by Anderson Bellini and with script and production by journalist Thiago Rahal Mauro , will feature never-before-seen footage from Matos' personal archive, as well as interviews with relatives, friends, and partners from the national and international rock scene, such as Kiko Loureiro , formerly of Angra and currently in Megadeth , Kai Hansen of Helloween , in addition to bandmates from some of the bands he participated in: VIPER , Angra, and Shaman .
The production will be released on September 14, 2021, the date on which Andre Matos would have turned 50.
